Ziarat: Dastardly Attack on Quaid E Azam Residency

Dastardly Attack on Quaid
Pakistan Observer
22-06-2013
“Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.” These words of Stanely Wolpert clearly define the greatness of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. As said by national poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal that Muhammad Ali Jinnah was incorruptible and unpurchable politician. His acumenship and political far-sightedness was tremendous in latter and spirit. He was a contended and ambitious leader who never altered his decisions at any stage. Once he said, I don’t like to take right decision, I take decisions and make them right. These were the one of few qualitative leadership traits of our national leader.

Today, the same leader who changed the entire world by making a separate Muslim state , is being crushed. His memories are being burnt and his last spent national monuments are being destroyed. Yes, the people involved in this heinous crime are neither Muslims nor Pakistanis. They are just creepy savages. On the other hand, we have put Jinnah’s portrait in offices and rooms wall and forgotten the glorious struggle he made for all of us. Jinnah is an epitome of inspiration for the whole world. Attacking on his places and attempting to burn his memories are unpardonable crimes. Whosoever carries such acts should be dealt with iron hand. Remember, attack on Jinnah’s Ziarat residence was an attack on his ideology and Pakistan. Though, our nation has sunk in the ocean of nothingness yet it has to wake up from its deep slumber. Muhammad Ali Jinnah is father of the nation apart from founder of Pakistan and it is our collective responsibility to preserve his glorious memories for our posterity.

Otherwise, putting his portraits on offices or home’s wall will not bring any productive results. We have to stand united on this irreparable loss and need to make a solemn vow that we will fight against terrorism and anti-state elements collectively. It was an attack on our Quaid and we will not leave a single stone unturned to crush the enemies. To conclude, Sarojni Naidu once said that “Even hundreds of Nehru, Gandhi & Patel in Muslim League could not have got Pakistan if there was a single Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Indian National Congress.

FBR Spammed Emails
Pakistan Observer
22-06-2013
It has been weeks to receive a number of FBR emails demanding tax refund requests. This, spurious tax refund notification states that you are eligible for the claim of 63 thousand rupees and directed to submit your request within short span of time if you intend to receive the said amount. It is seemingly a fake email being sent to spoil FBR management but it’s quite ambiguous that the concerned department has not made it public that someone tries to send fake emails by using FBR letter head. Being a responsible citizen, it is my paramount duty to bring this issue into the knowledge of FBR and request its management to look into this matter.

Ziarat Residency: Attack On Ideology

Attack On Ideology

“Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.”
These words of Stanely Wolpert clearly define the highness and par Excellency of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. They are just creepy savages. On the other hand, we have put the Jinnah’s portrait in offices and rooms wall and forgotten the glorious struggle he made for all of us. Jinnah is an epitome of inspiration and perspiration for the whole world. Attacking on his places and attempting to burn his memories are unpardonable crimes. Whosoever carries such acts should be dealt with iron hand. Remember, attack on Jinnah’s Ziarat residence was an attack on his ideology and Pakistan.

Letters To The Editors: The Css Scandal and Democratic country: Jinnah’s dream

The News International
The CSS scandal
2-4-2013

When Ansar Abbasi uncovered the CSS scandal involving cheating in the examination from the Faisalabad centre, the dreams of a lot of candidates were shattered. They have now started doubting the credibility of the FPSC, which is regarded as one of the few institutions left in the country that selects officers purely on merit. Many have been commenting – on social media sites – that such practices (cheating) have been around for long and that there have been many candidates who have managed to qualify the exam using fraudulent means.
It is also a matter of serious concern as to who provided the official seals and stamps to the wrong-doers. Also, how could they have managed to replace the answer-sheets with the help of a postman? The public service commission needs to revisit its policies if it intends to prevent such incidents in the future. It must deal severely and legally with all the people involved and make sure these people are made and example of. The CSS examinations are very serious business in countries like Pakistan where jobs are already scarce for competent people.

Democratic country: Jinnah’s dream
The Frontier Post
2-4-2013

The prevalent democratic form of government has completed its five-year constitutional period. Inevitably, it had many challenges to face in the beginning. But, it managed to face those challenges effectively.
No doubt, the style of propagating independence for Pakistan was also democratic. But after the sad demise of its founders, the democracy never survived for longer time.
Malignant role of institutions and pre-election rigging was common practice in history. Without democracy growth of Pakistan is not possible.
And everyone, be it an institution or a common man has understood that democracy is the only system which can prosper Pakistan. But, rigging an election will never make Pakistan a truly democratic country.
Hence, full independence to the Election commission, coupled with full fledged administrative powers, can make a difference.
Making Pakistan as envisioned by Jinnah is not the rocket science. What we need to do is to give authority to deserving, efficient, and loyal people which was the dream of Jinnah.
