Sindh Public Service Commission: Youth At Your Mercy!

Youth At Spsc Mercy!
Pakistan Observer
14-07-2013
Theoretically, Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) is considered to be an independent body of recruiting meritorious candidates of Sindh but practically it is dysfunctional institution of the province. Though, All other provincial service commissions announce PCS exam every year with a margin of 5 years age relaxation while our legacy based or merit slaughtering institution Spsc takes 5 years to announce PCS exam for dedicating and hard-working students of Sindh.

The Chief Minister and Chief Secretary who are solely responsible of Sindhis future, should have taken notice that why age relaxation has not been granted which is fundamental right of the students? The intensity of depravity has gone to such extent that students of Sindh have started committing suicides for not having decent jobs despite hard-work of 5 years. I appeal to heads of all concerned institutions, if you do not want to take any action then please liberate us from this SPSC existence. Shut its office, let seats be sold by brokers. In the name of merit we are always psychologically and socially murdered. SPSC has done enough to play with educated youth of Sindh, if you intend to benefit the masses then grant minimum 5 years age relaxation in the larger interest of public.

PCS Age Relaxation: A New Drama

Age relaxation: A new drama
The Frontier Post
13-07-2013

Theoretically, Sindh Public Service Commission is considered to be an independent body of recruiting meritorious candidates of Sindh but practically it is the most corrupt, dishonest, and dysfunctional institution of the province.
Though, all other Provincial Service Commissions announce PCS exam every year with a margin of 5-year age relaxation while our legacy based or merit slaughtering institution SPSC takes 5 years to announce PCS exams for dedicating and hard-working students of Sindh. Corruption charges against SPSC Chairman is not something new and not subject to be discussed but what drives me to wonder that if he could manage to relax rules to benefit his own son then how come he forgot to discuss the 5-year age relaxation- which is in benefit of poor Sindhi students who wasted their precious years by waiting for the exams? Not only this, The Chief Minister and Chief Secretary who are solely responsible of Sindhis’ future, should have taken notice of this advertisement and asked why age relaxation has not been granted which is fundamental right of the students?
The intensity of depravity has gone to such extent that students of Sindh have started committing suicides for not having decent jobs despite hard-work of five years. I appeal to heads of all institutions to take notice of the situation to save lives of the poor students.

Letter To The Editor: Deputation Virus

Deputation virus
The Frontier Post
29-04-2013

Recently, a press report revealed that more than 300 civil servants of different cadres had been posted in Office management Group by the former ruling party ppp. Posting officials on deputations is not a new practice.
Every government after coming into power reshuffles bureaucracy in order to benefit its close aids. The misuse of authority begins when a person who is not capable enough, has been posted on deputation.
Despite Supreme Court orders, there are thousands of civil servants posted in various departments under the tag of deputations.
When political interests are involved then why to shame while bypassing the rules laid down in the civil service ac?
This is the mindset of our so called democratic leaders. In the name of democracy ruling political parties always try to achieve their own political interests.
The most unfortunate thing is that there is not a single political party which is supposed to be in absolute majority.
This pluralistic politics compels different political parties to form government under the name of consensus policy which further aggravates our public sector organizations. But the point required for attention here who is the employer of civil servants, government or state? Managing administration affairs is not a child’s play.
It demands experience and administrative expertise to execute official duties adequately and expediently. However, it is the established fact that without assent of senior bureaucrats our politicians can never place a wrong man on the right job.
Yes, they are manipulated and offered fruitful- fringes in order to fulfill political interest but Pakistan’s interest is more important than any other interest.
In a judgement Supreme court had said to honest and loyal officers that they did not need to obey unconstitutional orders of the government.
Supreme court would guard their interest if they were maligned or manipulated by the ruling political elite. But, meager salaries always incite our bureaucrats to fall prey to dishonest practices.
Until structural changes are not brought, changing the status quo administration system is not possible. Civil servants should also realize that public interest is of high importance. It is therefore, they reckon themselves a civil servant is a public servant rather than politicians servant.

Cheating in Sindh local government board exam

Today, a number of written tests have been conducted for various posts in Sindh local government.
All the tests were departmental based and there was neither discipline nor proper system of conducting tests.
Everyone was fearlessly cheating in the exam and no one was disallowed to carry mobile phones in the examination hall.
Apart from this, examination hall was solely looking like a groom and bride hall and there was no prevention in intra and group communication among the candidates.
Here are the pictures of the exam.

See the future civil servants of our country. How ruthlessly rule of law is being practiced in our country. Notice, the role of management.how it's personnel are involved in mal-practice and in cheating activities.
If this trend will not abolish then administration of the country will be completely ruined. Sindh government should take serious note of this intended cheating.
